Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Coat a 2 cup microwave safe dish or ramekin with cooking spray
In a medium bowl, combine apples, 1 teaspoon flour, sugar and cinnamon. Mix well. Pour into baking dish and cover with wax paper. Microwave on high power for 3-4 minutes or until apples are soft and cooked through
In a small bowl, combine remaining flour with oats, and brown sugar. With a fork or your fingers (I have found fingers to work better), blend in butter until crumbly. Sprinkle the mixture over the apples.
Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden and bubbly. Let it rest for 5 minutes for the topping to become a little crispier and serve warm (preferably with a hearty scoop of ice cream!). ENJOY!
