What you’ll need to make the cookies:
- butter

- powdered sugar
- eggs
- vanilla
- baking powder
- cinnamon
- salt
- flour
- cinnamon sugar
All basic ingredients you probably already have on hand! They come together quickly and have no chill time!
Tips on making the best Cinnamon Sugar Cream Cheese Cookies:
How to get them extra soft and fluffy?
You’re going to beat that butter and cream cheese for at least 3 minutes. Then add the sugar and beat for another 2. The longer you beat, the more air gets into the mixture and the fluffier they turn out!
What is the Cinnamon Sugar Ratio?
It really is up to you and how much cinnamon you like! I usually do 1/4 cup sugar and 1/2 tsp cinnamon but if you like a stronger cinnamon flavor, definitely bump that up to 1 tsp cinnamon!
Can I make these in Advance?
Certainly make the dough in advance and store rolled into balls for up to 3 months! I’d just roll in cinnamon sugar right before baking.
You can bake the day before serving as long as you store them in an airtight container overnight.
They look underdone. What did I do wrong?
Give them a chance to cool! When they come out of the oven, they look VERY soft and like they’ll deflate if you touch them or fall apart. Just leave them be. They set as they cool and then they’ll be that perfect fluffy consistency.
How to store them?
In an airtight container for 3-4 days!

- 1 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1 3/4 cup flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, beat the butter and cream cheese until fluffy, about 2-3 minutes. Add in the powdered sugar, and beat again. Add the egg and vanilla and beat again.
- In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, cinnamon and salt. Slowly add to the butter mixture while beating on low.
- Whisk the sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl. Roll the dough into balls and then roll in the cinnamon sugar until fully coated. Place on baking sheet.
- Bake for 8-9 minutes or until the bottoms are lightly golden. They will look puffy and underdone. It's okay! Let them sit on the baking sheet to cool for 10 minutes and they will set up perfectly. Transfer to a wire rack to fully cool and enjoy!
