Christmas Cookie Box 2023 is something I’ve been looking forward to!

I’ve been sharing these recipes with you guys little by little over the last few months and I’ve complied my 6 favorites that made it into my cookie box this year.

Spoiler: one is not a cookie recipe, but you WILL NOT regret it!

First things first, we will share the cookie recipes! Keep scrolling for my best cookie tips.

I made 3 full boxes like this one and had leftovers of each type of cookie for my family to enjoy :)

This year we’ve got:

EGGNOG COOKIES

Eggnog Crinkle Cookies are fluffy on the inside but have a perfect crackly top that gives it a perfect little touch!

My favorite tip to make cookies more festive: add fun M&M’s. These are my classic Chocolate Chip Cookies but I replaced the chocolate chips with M&M’s. Simple swap, amazing results!

CINNAMON SUGAR CREAM CHEESE COOKIES

These cookies are like little pillows! Chock full of cinnamon sugar flavor and they melt in your mouth. SO GOOD.

Last but not least…our NON COOKIE option this year….

PUPPY CHOW

Reindeer food puppy chow is the perfect Christmas treat full of peanut butter, chocolate, M&M's and lots of crunchy salty treats too!

You’re not going to regret adding this into your cookie box. It’s addicting and bite sized pieces make it easy to snack on throughout the day ;)

Best Tips for Making the best Christmas Cookie Box of 2023:

Make everything you can in advance! This was my order of baking

2 days before delivery:

  • Make the Puppy Chow. Pop it in the fridge and keep it there until delivery day.
  • Make the Eggnog dough: pop it in the fridge until baking day
  • Make the Chocolate Chip Cookie dough: also keep in fridge until baking day

1 day before delivery (BAKING DAY)

  • Roll the eggnog dough into balls, roll in powdered sugar and bake.
  • Meanwhile, make the cinnamon sugar cookie dough. Roll into balls and set on a baking sheet. Bake when eggnog cookies are done.
  • While those are baking, roll out the chocolate chip cookie dough and have it ready to go in after the cinnamon sugar
  • Meanwhile, make the cranberry white chocolate oatmeal cookies and bake after the cinnamon sugar is done.
  • Lastly, make the brownie cookies and bake.=

Now let everything fully cool. Assemble the boxes by adding a few of each cookie to the boxes and don’t forget your Puppy Chow. Wrap it up however you’d like and they’re ready for

DELIVERY DAY!

How to Store These Cookies:

If you have enough airtight containers to fit all your cookies , GREAT!

If you don’t, you can always wrap the cookies on a plate with Saran Wrap. That’ll do the trick :)

Can I freeze the dough?

Yes! All of these doughs can be frozen after they’re rolled into balls. Just let them sit out for about 10-15 minutes before baking.

Where can I get Cookie Boxes?

I got these from Hobby Lobby! I’ve also found them at Target in the Dollar Spot. You could also use cookie tins.
